Playing along again over at the Kraft+ blog for this months ‘denim revolution’ challenge.
I have had these photos of my youngest daughter in my pile for ages. I loved these little denim overalls, I didn’t particularly love the mud all over her bum! But, as it turns out, it made for perfect colour combo for Kraft + Denim!
I started of by gesso-ing my background and then used a baby wipe to smear some Mr Hueys Navy ink. I love the way this gives a good ground point for my papers and clusters.
I used a lot of papers and elements from the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection, as well as a beautiful floral from a very old Heidi Shine paper, which I fussy cut for layering. I deconstructed a Charm’s creation denim heart, and a Flutterby Designs Die Cut.
This was a fun challenge, and I’m really happy with the way this came together.

This weekend I was lucky enough to attend a local Scrapbooking day put on by a lovely group of ladies to raise money for our local hospital.
It was a great day full of scrapping, chatting, raffles and shopping! We had scrap shops visit us from all over, and even had a stall with Zoe of Cocoa Vanilla!
The day managed to raise over $2000!! Well done to the ladies that organised the day!
I did manage to squeeze in some scrapping on the day and got two layouts completed. I worked on Jot’s April challenge, and had it judged as ‘best layout of the day’ by Leanne MacDonald, Scrapbooking Memories Master! How awesome! And I won a Scrapbooking Memories 12 month subscription! Yay me!!
So here are my layouts…
This one is for Jot this month.
The other big bonus of the day was that I got to meet some local scrappy friends and now have places and people to scrap with! Yay!!
Hope you all have a great week! School holidays here, so plenty of crafty time ahead!!
Two posts in one day, that’s unheard of! Guess that’s the perks of a rainy miserable weekend and Netflix, lots of Netflix!
This layout is my entry into the More than Words February challenge. The prompts were wonderful + sparkle.
I reckon I gave it a pretty good crack with my layout! I have used the word Wonderful in my title, and the background paper is covered in glitter (& so am I!), this brings the sparkle!
THIS IS OUR WONDERFUL CRAZY FAMILY!
How funny is it that this paper I’ve had in my stash for ever matches my dress exactly!! It wasn’t on purpose, I swear!!
These photos were taken last week at my hubby’s grandmothers funeral. My girls loving called her GG, and she will be missed greatly, but at 96 she had lived a full and happy life. Her funeral & wake became about celebrating this and enjoying time with our extended family, which resulted in a big photo shoot! I love these pics, and have added some journaling about this behind the pics.

I have to say that this months Jot Mood Board got me really excited!! Now don’t get me wrong, I love pastel mint and pink as much as the next girl, but I’m a bit over it. It’s been everywhere, all over everything, for a good while now, so that made this mood board a breath of fresh air! The deep purples, pinks and jades really made me go wow!!
Then came the tricky part! I NEVER scrap with purple, it’s just not my colour, so I really had to dig in my stash to find bits that would work. Thank goodness for my unnatural habit of stashing Heidi Swapp goodies for eons, because this was nearly the only purple I had! Combined with some more recent Shimelle, and Crate paper, I managed to pull together a layout I am super happy with!!
My eldest daughter is super embarrassed that I scrapped this pic, she thinks she looks like a ‘dork’. But I think it’s important to remember those awkward times with new glasses, wobbly teeth and not so great haircuts! I think she’s pretty cool regardless!!
Till next time,
Big loves, Tam x
Today I’m sharing a layout that I created for the Jot January Mood Board.
I chose to focus on the gorgeous Aqua/Mint colours of the mood board, and go with a monochromatic layout. I also incorporated some of the natural tones and florals through my embellishments and patterned papers.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on some of the new chipboard from Flutterby Designs and have made this a big part of the focus on my page. I LOVE this title! I also had a play with the new love heart stencil from Flutterby, which is super cute, I’m sure this will be popping up a lot!
So here it is…
Isn’t that bunny just the cutest too!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Here I am again, sharing another layout. This time playing along over at Kraft+ January Challenge. The prompt this month was to incorporate our handwriting into our layout.
I incorporated not only my handwriting, but I did the title and background artwork by hand, and made the layout all about me! It’s a pretty simple layout, but I’m happy with the way it turned out!
Well, hasn’t it been a good long while since I’ve posted over here! I had lost my password and couldn’t figure out how to access the site, thank goodness for Dr. Google!
Today I have a layout to share that I created to play along with the More Than Words Challenge Blog.
Here is the prompt…
The layout I created had to demonstrate my personality and have a selfie. What a tricky one! I never scrap myself!! But I gave it a go, and came up with a quirky, girly, grungy page which is totally me!
Check it out…
I totally love it and all the quirky little details that I could include, which I think only works because I kind of whitewashed the page insert background.
What do you reckon??
I look forward to sharing my creations over here again. Thanks for stopping by.
Well, it has been way too long since I blogged, and sadly enough almost as long since I scrapped!
Since I last posted we have relocated from South Australia to New South Wales, done Christmas and birthdays and school holidays, and renovated and moved into our new house! Phew! It’s been a hectic few months.
After all this, It has been a little hard to get my scrappy groove back, so I decided to participate in some challenges this month to help me along.
My first page is for the Jot Mood Board Challenge
And here is my page ‘loved everyday’
I was inspired by the colours in the mood board, drawing on the creams, peaches and naturals, along with the feminine floral feel of the board.
I’m happy with my layout, but I’m even happier to be back in my craft space getting my groove back!
Thanks for stoping by.
